A Management Services Organization

The business behind the practice.

Cadence Management and Consulting LLC is a management services organization (MSO). We provide the administrative, operational, financial, marketing, and technology backbone that professional practices, law firms first among them, need to run well, so the professionals can focus entirely on their clients.

What an MSO is, and isn't

A management services organization is a business-services company that contracts with a professional practice to handle everything the practice needs that isn't the profession itself. The structure keeps a clean line between business operations and professional judgment.

What we do

Non-legal business services under a written management services agreement: administration, operations, finance, marketing, and a proprietary technology platform, delivered at fixed, pre-set rates.

What we never do

We do not practice law, direct legal strategy, set legal fees, or influence any decision that belongs to a lawyer and their client. Professional independence stays entirely with the firm.

How we're paid

Flat fees and pre-set rates tied to operational work performed, never a percentage of legal fees, recoveries, or case outcomes.

Services

One agreement, one operating team, covering the full non-legal surface of a modern practice.

01

Practice Operations & Administration

Day-to-day business administration: staffing support, vendor management, scheduling, and the operational routines that keep a practice moving.

02

Technology & Automation Platform

A proprietary practice-operations platform: case-flow tooling, workflow automation, integrations, and AI-assisted operations, licensed to client firms at fixed rates.

03

Finance & Billing Operations

Bookkeeping support, invoicing, expense management, financial reporting, and clean cost allocation the firm's accountant can rely on.

04

Marketing Operations

Firm-branded marketing execution: websites, search-engine optimization, and advertising operations, always conducted in the firm's own name, with media billed at documented cost.

05

Intake & Workflow Systems

The non-legal systems around client intake: forms, routing, document collection, and status tracking, built so nothing falls through the cracks.

06

Data & Reporting

Operational dashboards and reporting that show firm leadership exactly how the business side of the practice is performing.

The licensed platform

Cadence owns a proprietary practice-operations platform and licenses it to client firms at a fixed per-matter rate, independent of any firm's legal fees or recoveries. It is a genuine, standalone technology product: built, hosted, and operated by Cadence.

Operations control plane

The engine behind the practice: intake pipelines, case-flow jobs, scheduling, attribution, and reporting, running around the clock. For Conduit Law, this runs as the os-conduit system.

Staff & client application

A web application where firm staff work their matters and clients follow their cases, sign documents, and upload what's needed. Deployed for Conduit Law at app.conduit.law.

AI operations layer

An MCP server that wires the firm's practice-management, email, document, billing, and phone systems into one AI-assisted layer, so staff can work across every tool from a single conversation. The Conduit MCP server is the flagship deployment.

Workflow & agent library

A library of automations and AI agents for the repeatable, non-legal work of running a firm: document collection, status tracking, follow-ups, reconciliation, and reporting.

Conduit Law, LLC, a Colorado personal-injury firm, is the platform's first and flagship licensee. Cadence manages the firm's full non-legal stack, from web properties and marketing operations to the systems above. The same platform is available to other firms on comparable, arm's-length terms.

How we operate

MSO arrangements only work when the structure is unambiguous. These are the rules we run on.

  1. A written agreement governs everything.

Services, rates, and terms are set out in a management services agreement with a fixed rate schedule, amended only prospectively and in writing.

  2. Fees are fixed and outcome-blind.

Every fee is a flat amount or pre-set rate tied to operational events. Nothing we charge is contingent on, or calculated from, a firm's legal fees, revenues, or case results.

  3. Professional judgment is untouchable.

Legal representation, strategy, fee-setting, and settlement decisions belong to the firm and its clients. Full stop.

  4. Marketing is the firm's, in the firm's name.

We run traditional, clearly firm-identified marketing. We do not buy, sell, or broker leads or potential-client information.

  5. Everything is auditable.

Invoices, cost documentation, and reporting are kept so that a lawyer, an accountant, or a regulator can review the relationship and see exactly what was provided and what it cost.
